Hydraulic Surface Safety Valve

Surface Safety Valve (SSV) is quick closure device for emergencies such as overpressure and leaks in the well line.

SSV is remotely operated by an emergency shutdown device (ESD) and can be automatically triggered by a high or low pressure pilot actuator. In the event of an emergency, SSV can prevent explosions and reduce injuries to personnel.

  • Can quickly close the valve in 2 seconds

  • Fail-safe remote activation and automatic well closure when loss of control pressure occurs

  • Metal-to-metal seals for reliability in harsh environments

  • Compliance with API-6A Latest Edition (PSL-3 , PR2), NACE MR0175

  • Working Pressure: 5,000psi ~ 20,000psi

  • Temperature: P ~ U

  • Bore Size: 1 13/16" - 7 1/16"

  • Hydraulic actuator: 3,000 psi working pressure and 1/2" NPT

  • Inlet and outlet connections: API 6A flange or Weco hammer union
